School district real estate and per capita bills are mailed each year on July 1st. It is the taxpayer's responsibility to make sure bills are received and paid. Please contact our office if you have not received your bill by July 15th.
Remember: If a receipt is required for either real estate, per capita or interim please enclosed a self-addressed stamped envelope.

Paying your Real Estate Taxes
Payments are to be paid on or before the listed date on the tax bill. If paying installment payments for real estate the payments need to be paid on or before the date listed on the tax bill.
All payments mailed must be postmarked on or before the date of the payment that is being paid (example: if paying the discount amount, then envelope will need to be postmarked on or before August 31). This information is listed on the back of the tax bill as well.
**Please be sure that the check amount is equal to the coupon amount**

Real estate tax payments not received or postmarked by December 31st will be forwarded to the tax claim office at each county for collection. Taxpayers will be subject to a 10% delinquent penalty applied to the unpaid balance due. Per capita tax payments not received or postmarked by December 31st will be forwarded to Statewide Tax Recovery for collection. Taxpayers with questions regarding delinquent Per Capita taxes will need to contact Statewide. https://www.statewidetaxrecovery.com/ - This link will take you to Statewide's website to answer questions you may have regarding delinquent per capita taxes.
If you wish to be exempt from paying Per Capita, please fill out the form named Per Capita Tax Exemption Form which is located under the name Forms on the upper right side of the page. Please have form completed with the correct information attached and mailed into Warrior Run School address located on form by the deadline date that is listed (October 1st).
Interim Tax Payments
Interim bills are mailed throughout the year when a change in assessment occurs. Please contact the County Tax Office for any questions regarding interim bills. Please mail any interim payments to Warrior Run School District, the address is listed on the tax coupon.

Act 1
The Taxpayer Relief Act of 2006 ( Act 1) is a state law intended to ease the financial burden of home ownership by providing school districts the means to lower property taxes to homeowners with funding provided by gaming revenue.
Homestead/ Farmstead Exclusions
In order to be eligible for property tax reduction you must have applied for and been approved by the county assessment office for the homestead or farmstead exclusion by March 1st. If you are a new resident or have not previously applied for the Homestead/Farmstead Exclusion, please contact your county assessment office.
