Community Update 4.14.21

April 14, 2021

Good afternoon Warrior Run Community,

Thank you again for your understanding as we worked through the waterline issues earlier this morning.  The waterline was repaired quickly, and water was restored to the complex by 10:30am.

Positive Student Case
The District was informed of a positive student case in our high school.  The student was last in the building on April 8th.  Contact tracing has been completed, and DOH has been notified.  With 35 days of school remaining, we would remind everyone to continue following mitigation efforts in an effort to minimize cases within our schools and our community.

Bridge Closure
We recently received notification that the 8th Street Bridge (spanning Route 180) is scheduled to be closed beginning next week until November 2021. Our transportation department has identified that the following buses will be affected by the closure.  Beginning on Monday, April 19th we are asking that all students riding bus 9, 11, 12, 15, & 17 to arrive at their bus stop at least 5 minutes earlier than normal.  Students riding bus 5 should arrive at least 10 minutes earlier than normal.  Please note that afternoon runs for these buses may be delayed by a similar amount of time. Any further adjustments for this year will be communicated accordingly.  Student drivers and parents dropping off or picking up their child(ren) are encouraged to follow the posted detour.  If you have any questions regarding the transportation adjustments, please contact our Transportation Coordinator in the Business Office.

Have a good evening,

Alan Hack
