Good afternoon Warrior Run Community,
With only a few weeks left in the 2019-2020 school year, our distance learning plan is beginning to wind down for our students. Our building principals will be sharing plans early next week for returning school materials (i.e. textbooks, library books, Chromebooks, etc.) and picking up any personal belongings left in our buildings. Please note that summer programming may look different this year – stay tuned for future announcements to learn about available summer programs and how your child(ren) can participate!
The last day for picking up paper packets at Watsontown Elementary School is scheduled for Monday, May 18th. These packets will include assignments through May 29th. Completed packets will be collected on Monday, May 25th and Monday, June 1st. Please contact your child’s teacher(s) and/or building principal with any questions or concerns related to the completion of any remaining assignments.
As previously mentioned, school lunches will continue to be provided on Mondays and Wednesdays throughout the month of June. The Food Service Department is also planning a special Memorial Day luncheon on Monday, May 25th during lunch pick-up!
Traditional snack packs will continue to be available through Monday, June 1st. Also during the month of June, the Food Service Department is partnering with the Central PA Food Bank and will be offering boxes of food to every family that comes through the line for school lunches. For additional information, please contact Jonathan Hall (email@example.com).
Have a wonderful weekend,
