Tax Payment Information

School district real estate and per capita tax bills are mailed each year on or about July 1st.  It is the taxpayer’s responsibility to make sure bills are received and paid. Please contact our office if you have not received your bill by July 15th.  Interim bills are mailed throughout the year when a change in assessment occurs. The tax office is the contact for questions concerning school real estate and per capita taxes in all municipalities of the Warrior Run School District. 

Remember: If a receipt is required for either real estate or per capita, please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope.

Paying your Real Estate Taxes

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic there will be no penalty for the 2020 Real Estate Taxes if paid by December 31, 2020.

**Please be sure that the check amount is equal to the coupon amount**

NOTE: Tax Bills are NOT being sent to mortgage companies.

All real estate tax payments not received or postmarked by December 31st will be forwarded to the tax claim office at each county for collection. Taxpayers will be subject to a 10% delinquent penalty applied to the unpaid balance due.

Paying your Per Capita

Payments must be postmarked by the due date.  Payments in person are accepted at any branch of Swineford National Bank, FNB Bank N.A., Fulton Bank, or any other Fulton Bank affiliate.  Tax Coupon Required.

All per capita tax payments not received or postmarked by December 31st will be forwarded to Statewide Tax Recovery for collection.

ACT 1 and the HOMESTEAD/FARMSTEAD EXCLUSION
ACT 1
The Taxpayer Relief Act of 2006 (Act 1) is a state law intended to ease the financial burden of home ownership by providing school districts the means to lower property taxes to homeowners with funding provided by gaming revenue.
Homestead/Farmstead Exclusions
In order to be eligible for a property tax reduction you must have applied for and been approved by the county assessment office for the homestead or farmstead exclusion by March 1st. If you are a new resident or have not previously applied for the Homestead/Farmstead Exclusion, please contact your county assessment office.
