Important Update: New Elementary Morning Drop-off Procedures Starting November 4th, 2024
Dear Warrior Run Elementary Parents,
In an effort to improve traffic flow and reduce back-ups on Warrior Run Boulevard, we will be implementing a new drop-off procedure for Elementary students (grades K-6) starting on Monday, November 4th, 2024. Please note that this change only affects the Elementary morning drop-off; there are no changes for Jr./Sr. High students.
Here’s what you need to know:
-
Grades K-6 Drop-off: Parents dropping off Elementary students should enter the new drop-off line from Susquehanna Trail and follow the route outlined in the map. Once your child has been dropped off, please continue along the path and exit back onto Susquehanna Trail.
-
Entering the Elementary School Building: If you need to enter the Elementary School for a morning meeting, you should use Warrior Run Boulevard and park in the lot near the baseball and softball fields. Any other visits to the Elementary School after 8:30AM should proceed as usual.
-
Jr./Sr. High Drop-off: There are no changes to the Jr./Sr. High morning drop-off. However, parents dropping off Jr./Sr. High students or students driving themselves should use the lower entry to the Jr./Sr. High School back parking lot. The upper entry will be reserved for exiting buses.
-
Afternoon Pick-Up: There will be no change to the afternoon dismissal procedures.
Please review the map to familiarize yourself with the new drop-off pattern. Blue arrows will be painted on the roadway for your convenience. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us create a smoother, safer process for everyone.
Thank you for your attention to this change. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the Warrior Run Elementary School office.
Sincerely,
Warrior Run School District
