1. Pre-read general reference
- Use the reference section - encyclopedias - in the library.
- Search an online encyclopedia, like Encyclopedia Britannica.
3. Broaden or narrow the topic.

1. Choose appropriate resources.
- Use the Destiny Card Catalog for books or other resources
- Use the left side navigation for other online materials.
2. Evaluate information found.
- Is this information useful for my paper/project?
- Do the websites I'm using A.A.D.D. up?
